About Santhust -

I am a Complex Network analyst with focus on biological and chemical networks. Presently, I represent Center for Biological Network Analysis at European Molecular Biology Lab (EMBL) Heidelberg, Germany. My role and interest involves (a) helping researchers pan-EMBL at all levels in applying concepts from network science to answer biological questions: from general consultancy to deep research, (b) offering short courses and workshops for the dissemination of network science concepts.As a post doctoral Fellow at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany, I gained experience in working with food chemical networks involving interfacing with chocolate and wine industry. This involved a combination of skill including Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectroscopy (LC-MS) data analysis, Metabolomics, Systems Biology, Django Web Framework, network science and machine learning. As a PhD candidate at University of Delhi (Department of Physics and Astrophysics), I worked on understanding structure and dynamics of gene regulatory networks in bacteria. I trained as a Physicist in my formative years and then moved into interdisciplinary sciences. Besides, I am a son, husband, father and a Homo sapiens sapiens.
