Aerodynamic Engineer in charge of the design, study and development of the formula's aerodynamics as well as its manufacturing for European Formula Student 2022 and 2023 competitions. Main designer of Fairing surface and Sidepods flow/design. (Catia V5 and Ansys Fluent, Structural)

Within the framework of the Formula Student Spain competition, I had the valuable opportunity to present and defend the design of the Department of Aerodynamics before a panel of evaluators. During this exhibition, I was able to exhaustively share the knowledge acquired and the results obtained throughout the season in the creation of the UM23.• It is significant to highlight that we received very positive feedback from the jury, accompanied by valuable recommendations with a view to optimizing our performance in the coming season.• On a personal level, it was an outstanding honor to represent the department as the main speaker in presenting the aerodynamic strategy, working directly with the head of the department. To him I credit the legacy of the end results that have been successfully embodied in the vehicle.

• For the 2022-2023 season of the Formula Student team, I have invested a considerable amount of time in a thorough analysis of the geometry and flow patterns generated by the sidepods, as well as the thermal efficiency of the sidepods. In addition, I have once again assumed initial responsibility for the design and development of the vehicle's fairing.• This competitive cycle reaches its culmination with an important milestone: the production of the first presentation video in rendered format, which had a major impact on the first impression of the official presentation of the UM23!

With the start of the new season and the objective of improving manufacturing times, the team decided to switch from a monocoque structure to a tubular chassis.• My work on this mission included creating a fairing that, in addition to covering said chassis, was aerodynamically efficient. The result was a geometry with a drag coefficient of 0.26.• During this experience I learned a lot about surface development in CATIA V5 and the effective and optimized simulation of CFD flows in Ansys Fluent.
