Handling biscuit manufacturing operations of western India for all contract manufacturing units in the region. As of now there are two big factories operating in west i.e. Nagpur, Maharashtra and Nadiad, Gujrat. Both of the plant caters around 4000 Tons of biscuits a month to western region.Responsibilities:Coordinating ITC teams located on sites for timely delivery of manufacturing and quality targets.Working out annual conversion costs for CMUs basis study of different operating cost components.Optimizing resources to reduce costing on manpower, overheads, repair and maintenance to reduce the impact of cost increase on conversion charges.Reviewing performance on different parameters through routine reports on market serviceability, Productivity and quality.Conducting internal audits to check process control, hygiene standards, food safety aspects, plant infrastructure and ITC equipment’s health status. Working with CMU management on resolving plant issues on different aspects of operations like, maintenance, people development, internal audit finding’s status and action plans, Statutory compliances, infrastructure improvements, market serviceability and quality initiatives.Conducting appraisals and recruitment for ITC team at site. Coordinating with different functions of ITC like quality, procurement, maintenance, projects and finance for concerned issues of different factories

This is one of the biggest establishment for manufacturing in Haridwar for ITC Ltd in FMCG other than cigarettes. Biscuits, Personal care, Snacks, Noodles and Printing divisions are having manufacturing facilities in Hardwar complex. In Hardwar Biscuit factory all niche and premium biscuits and cookies are manufactured.Responsibilities:Responsible for production planning, manpower deployment and material planning to meet the monthly production targets and ensuring FG dispatch is as per WSP fill rates.Ensuring that power and fuel consumptions are as per the budget.Analyzing and monitoring material variance and delivering monthly positive material variance.Analyzing monthly expenditures with respect to the budget for the unit month wise and optimizing the same.Analyzing production efficiencies and target to achieving 90% efficiency. Maintaining all EHS guidelines and ensuring zero LTA.Responsible for streamlining production of new products in the plant and supporting R & D for trouble shooting of product defects and in recipe development to have better run-ability. Preparation of production department capital expenditure budgets.Planning maintenance activities for maintenance day and ensuring on-line troubleshooting is done asap to reduce downtime. Ensuring timely recruitment for the executives and workmen as and when required and mentoring them for desired outputs. Responsible for training and development of the team.Ensuring trainings on EHS, 5S, kaizen, Quality Circles and on technical skills of workmen so as to maintain skill and knowledge of the workforce in the department.Developing operating procedures and work instructions for all products and processes.Responsible for preparation and maintaining IMS & HACCP standard requirements and SAP system.

New India Plamer Foods, Pondicherry is one of the biggest CMU of ITC Ltd. Almost all kinds of biscuits are being manufactured in this plant including Short Dough, Creams and cutting varieties with a capacity of around 2800 MT of production every month.Responsibilities:Responsible for managing third party operation with my team of Manufacturing and finance executives.Responsible for statutory compliances, accounts and supply chain activities related to the plant.Monitoring conversion cost and negotiating the same during annual contract with CMU.Fully responsible for strategic planning, manpower planning and trouble shooting of the entire process to meet the monthly production target as per SAP plans and coordinating with CMU management for the same.Overall responsible for monitoring and reporting of material efficiency, productivity, process efficiency, downtime analysis, customer complaint analysis and In-Process check data analysis. Responsible for streamlining production of new products in the plant. Worked as a support hand to R&D for product development. Fully responsible for developing operating procedures and work instructions for all new products. Responsible for updating operating procedures and work instructions for all running products and processes.Responsible for overall training plan and execution (Safety, Technical & HR) of workmen so as to maintain skill and knowledge of the workforce in the department.Continuously guided and accounted the CMU management to maintain GMP, GHP and HACCP. Key Achievements: Brought up RM and PM variance positive consistentlyImproved plant productivity from 87 MT / day to 105 MT.Reduced market complaints by around 50 % by focusing on GMP, Hygiene and infrastructureWorked along with CMU to cut upon plant running costs and analysed the trends of expenditures which led to reduction in conversion cost.

Short dough and cutting varieties were being made in this plant.key Responsibilities-Achieving production plans by effective utilization of available resources.Assessing the factory performance in terms of yield, productivity, reduction in downtime, and wastage control. Reporting to HO for the same through weekly and monthly reports.Ensuring that the product being manufactured is complying with ITC standards.Ensuring food safety systems like GMP, GHP, and effective implementation of HACCP system.Preparing weekly maintenance plans and ensuring maintenance of ITC assets.Helping CMU staff for trouble shooting of regular operation.Coordinating with CMU management for infrastructure development and adequate resource availability.

Served the company as an overall in charge of production in a shift, which involve manpower management, production planning, technical assistance and troubleshooting during the shift operation. Ensuring on-line process control, recipe selection, oven profile set-up and biscuits quality parameters.Responsible for ensuring production quality and production rate so as to match final delivery schedule.
