Liaising with Railway officials on day to day basis for matter related to ICD operations at various ICDs.Taking care of Container inventory and management along with other assets for proper planning and optimum utilizationMaintaining record of CMACGM owned boxes + leased ones. At the same time ensuring that lessee party must be invoiced as per agreed terms for leased out boxesCoordination with all ICDs & CFSs for their inventory at ICD and other related issues.Part of Logistics Department, followed up on all India level for both export & import containers as part of container tracking and control over the movement.Successfully reduced the turnaround time of containers by monitoring & controlling over the idling containers (full or empty) at various yards / locations.Coordinating with port of loading / shipper / consignee / port of discharge / customs for early clearance of longstanding units.Managing equipment (empty containers) planning for exports and control over supply of them to various agencies basis the analysis of demand.Liasioning with accounts / operations department and vendors to approve or settle invoices related to expenses.Ensuring of turnaround time of containers is kept at the minimum level.Liasioning between Marketing, Operations, Documentation and Customer Service Team on daily basis as part of monitor & control over the movement of shipment / container.

Around 6 Months was there in Crew management by hiring new crew for the Vessel.Participated in the stevedoring operations and management at Chennai port.Managed Ship Chandlers / to fulfil the Vessel requirement.
