Current*Operation and Maintenance (Mech) of Bulk Material Handling equipment engaged in handling Iron Ore. # Ship Unloaders (2no’s each of 2800 T/H). # Conveyors (14KM length with rated capacity of 3000 T/H). # Transfer Towers equipped with Dust Separation Units (6 no’s). * Responsible for discussing and agreeing with Master and Chief Officer for Unloading plans, Survey Procedures and Stevedoring activities.* Co-ordinating with agents for clearance of vessel documentation through… Show more *Operation and Maintenance (Mech) of Bulk Material Handling equipment engaged in handling Iron Ore. # Ship Unloaders (2no’s each of 2800 T/H). # Conveyors (14KM length with rated capacity of 3000 T/H). # Transfer Towers equipped with Dust Separation Units (6 no’s). * Responsible for discussing and agreeing with Master and Chief Officer for Unloading plans, Survey Procedures and Stevedoring activities.* Co-ordinating with agents for clearance of vessel documentation through FASAH. * Responsible for verifying and guiding the team in preparation of vessel documents and operational documents before submitting to the client. * Ensuring Vessel operation data is updated on time in SABIC Terminal Operation System “Sea Berth”. * Assigning personnel, technical support teams to perform routine maintenance inspections of equipment to identify and respond to problems in a timely manner, thus preventing breakdowns and ensuring plant availability 24/7. * Planning and Scheduling Preventive Maintenance activities, Shutdown activities according to OEM specification, SOP’s and Operational requirement.* During Maintenance and Shutdown Activities accept permits and see the jobs are carried out with 100% safety and complying with clients SHEM policies. * Providing solutions and fixing equipment malfunctioning and system breakdowns using root-cause-failure techniques, corrective actions, alternative methods or replacement. * Planning and Submitting Annual budget approval to client for various spares and services required. * Spares and inventory planning, technical evaluation for procurement of critical spares with SAP based material management system. * Evaluating and assessing the technical capabilities of team members through JQP and arranging skill-based trainings to upgrade the skills.* Ensuring Safe operation and organizational standards with use of PPE, Safe Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard identification and Risk assessment.
