- Worked as a senior Java developer to develop and maintain PostUp’s email marketing platform.- Enhanced platform to allow for Push notifications to be used for marketing- Engaged with the technical support team to increase efficiency and enhance customer experience.- Designed and developed new features to PostUp’s web services API

- Worked independently to manage the complete lifecycle – requirements gathering, design, development, testing and delivery.- Developed demo software to showcase the use of radiation detectors to prospective customers, at conferences and exhibitions.- Developed custom apps as per client request. One custom project involved gathering data from detector over a period of time and storing in database in order to be able to draw statistical reports. Other custom requirements included deployment specific UI specifications, customized views/data and embedded intelligence.-Created apps for web (LAMP), desktops (C++/Java) and mobile (Android SDK).

- Led team to build backend technology for data gathering and processing for over 1700 cities in India. This data was used by our local search engine asklaila.com to deliver intelligent results to our end users.- Interacted with data services companies (outsourcing partners) to ensure clean and usable local data collection. Developed software to ensure reliability and process payment to our partners. Software developed was a combination of web services using LAMP and standalone tools using Java- Developed data warehouse and analytics reports used by marketing and advertising teams.- Picked up dynamic requirements as need arose. I was acting QA manager for 4 months till I could hire a suitable candidate to fill the position. Being a small company there were many opportunities - from performance testing to manually checking GPS coordinates for authenticity to developing proof of concept applications.

- Transitioned Open View Performance Insight (OVPI) from US to India. Helped in setting up a team for maintenance, testing and eventually the entire lifecycle of project in Bangalore- Worked on development, maintenance, testing and tools development- Interacted with clients during presales to demonstrate the advantages of using OVPI for their setup.- Delivered overlapping patch releases for various versions of OVPI- Used Sybase and Oracle to store and report data collected via SNMP from various devices (ATM/Frame Relay/MPLS devices)

- Worked on outsourced projects from clients Lucent and Telenet (Belgium based cable broadband services) - Developed CLI, API and SNMP interfaces for Lucent's Network Management System and also helped build automated testing suite for the same.- Interacted with various teams in order to deliver an OSS solution to client, Telenet. Managed team responsible for network provisioning of Telenet’s voice and data network. Code development was in C++ using Nortel's ASAP tool.
