• Conduct market research on specific sectors, inputs/service markets, analyze market trends, constraints, opportunities (e.g. Vegetable, Agro-Inputs, Financial Services etc.)• Identified and established sustainable market system for agriculture commodities by overarching the root causes Identified and analyzed potential opportunities to improve market access for program participants in order to improve scaling efficiency.• Identify and develop partnership with selected public/private, local market actors.• Develop strategies, business model, intervention plans for distribution and promotion of specific inputs/services, to improve sourcing etc.• Oriented staffs and capacitated them on Business development services (BDS) and Making Market for poor (M4P) for focused implementation on market development. • Supervise activities of the sub-contractors staffs in the assigned districts and take specific initiatives for capacity development• Additionally, as a focal person, develop and regularly update project’s intervention's strategies based on field findings; orient and coach project staffs, partners and other stakeholders on market strategies, activities and outcomes.• Building linkages & effective coordination with partners, private sector service providers, GO, NGOs, associations, business groups and value chain actors.• Prepared training/capacity development module/toolkit for project staffs, service provider’s input/output market actors, project partners and different level of stakeholders.
