I Achieved CPR certification as part of the curriculum. I also participated in weekly two-hour rotations shadowing health care personnel in nursing and support services areas within the hospital. I participated in monthly educational trainings; guest speakers discussed health care and wellness topics or roles within the healthcare industry. I also observed and assisted in various departments of the hospital, such as physical therapy, radiology and the emergency department.
