• Led a team in developing a multi-tenant streaming data processing service for Azure IoT Central, processing ~400 million messages/day.• Collaborated with architects and engineers to ensure ingestion, transformation, and computations on IoT device data with real-time processing latencies.• Spearheaded the creation of the service charter from proof of concepts to full team leadership, providing data to internal services in Azure IoT Central.

Founding member for the data processing team for Azure IoT Central product.Working with a diverse set of engineers, PMs and architects to build the streaming data processing service to power the needs of visualizations and rules engine in Azure IoT Central.

Founding member of the Infrastructure team for Azure IoT Central. Built the first production rollout engine with two other engineers to deploy the service on DC/OS clusters with high availability.

Lead architecture and engineering for a new space analytics service for Azure IoT Smart Spaces launch.Collaborated with external light house customers and internal partners for the preview and the initial launch.Solved complex problems around ingestion of telemetry at scale, transformation at ingestion, aggregations and cross database joins at query while providing near real time latency guarantees.

• Led architecture and engineering for a new content notification service, scaling it to handle millions of events per hour with near real-time latency.• Mentored junior engineers and testers in coding, testing, and development practices.• Filed 2 US patents around batched tasks and notification management.

• Designed and implemented a navigation/view manager for a unified app (Word/Excel/Ppt) at Microsoft.• Coordinated between 3 teams to create a unified Office experience on iOS.• Ported OneNote mobile app on the Symbian OS and owned the model and sync layer of the application.

• Designed and implemented new features for Excel mobile app on Windows Phone.• Created new library for Office Mobile apps to read/write documents in the compressed xml file format (docx/pptx).
