I lead a SAMSUNG subsidiary called CHEIL ; responsible for brand building in the Nigerian market. I oversee the strategy and execution of Marketing (Offline & Digital), Retail expansion and fittings, Events, Activation, and strategic partnerships.

Contracted to develop and drive the Marketing department of one of Nigerias leading Lotto companies to self sustainability.

I was responsible for growing company profitability through acquisition and relationship management of new brand accounts while creating content and engaging brand activity.Managed a team of Creatives, Media planners & buyers, and Digital executives in the planning and execution of research and data driven marketing communication activities.

Company Lead on creation and management of customised brand/consumer content and engagement. Constantly thinking out of the box to curate unconventional media and marketing activity that leave brands constantly in the mind of consumers. I successfully commissioned unconventional content having identified shift in trend from a predominantly traditional to an infusion of digital with engaging content being key after identifying media consumption patterns of consumers .Accounts worked on in this period are Nigerian Breweries, Eko Pearl Towers, Purple #5050 ( A DFID project in Nigeria that advocates for gender equality. )

Worked with a proactive team as a strategist, content and idea generator on Marketing campaigns.Samsung being my main responsibility, I Successfully contributed the emergence of Samsung Mobile devices in Nigeria as Market Leader. This i achieved with a team of four others where i was lead on strategic engagements at media connection points for mobile phone users in a fast growing technology, media & telecommunications industry. In this period, Samsung Mobile overtook Nokia as the market share leader, we created a cross platform radio segment with Beat FM for Samsung which ended up being the most engaging radio program in the region for 3 years straight and Samsung pioneered the use of Influencer marketing on social media. I Monitored and optimised where necessary campaigns deployed on Billboards, Print, Radio, Television and Digital.I successfully managed all Samsung sponsorships in media, events and ensured product placements were brand fit when we engaged.In this period, i was also the International Liaison lead on the Samsung account, working closely with the Starcom office in London, South Africa, South Korea, & India reporting periodically on competitive landscape on all Samsung Electronics consumer goods, share of voice and spend, post buy analysis and Budget tracking.In this period, Nigeria became the hub of Samsung’s business in West Africa.As Samsung had products applicable to different social economic sectors, i learnt a lot about the different target audiences that we had to connect with.My compliance with deliverables and deadlines improved a great deal as i had to align with stringent timelines from different time zones with the South Korean, UK, Indian and South African offices.I attended conferences and workshops that helped my understanding of the Electronics, luxury and telecommunications industries.Some of the other brands i worked on in the same period are Coca Cola, P&G, Etisalat, Nestle, Nigerian Breweries, Turkish Airlines.

Worked with a team of analysts on management reform ,restructuring and training for institutions like AfriBank (now MainStreet Bank) , GTbank , Dangote and Bank Phb (now Keystone Bank).Also worked on Print logistics , circulation strategy and Advert Sales for Waseet - A free weekly classified advertising publication.

Worked on CNN Mobile and Website content for the CNN Vote Portal for the American Elections in 2008 when Barak Obama won Presidential elections. Reviewed and updated the CNN mobile platform with news articles. Worked directly with the Digital Marketing director
