    Being Vice President & General Manager of the Hotel my job profile and few of my responsibilities are as below • Plan and execute for the expansion of the company and Responsibility for entire hotel operations. • To Formulate the annual work plans and budgets for the hotel.Guide the Sales & Marketing team to acquire and retain business from various segments. • To Manage ongoing profitability of unit, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met • To Guide and train the Head of Departments to ensure smooth operations of the hotel. • Steering improvement initiatives with focus on streamlining & managing operations with proactive planning, introducing new concepts. • Supervising entire Rooms Division and F&B operations, inclusive of formulating & implementing the departments standard operating procedures. • To Ensure costs are controlled and revenue opportunities are effectively sourced and delivered • Prepare financial reports for management pertaining to operational effectiveness, trends and variances • To Ensure good safety practices of employees and guests, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures • To Ensure hotel is operated in compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations and requirements of municipal authority • Acquiring and sustaining relationships with event planners, vendors, caterers, business organizations and so on. • Coordinating manpower planning, recruitment, selection, induction and socialization activities in the organization and devising policy formulation. • Directing frequent and thorough inspections of all the departments in the hotel and assuring training is provided where needed. • Sharing resources and best practice between departments, monitoring the performance of multi-skilled workforce and conceptualizing need-based training programme for their overall career development • Defining service standards and guidelines that serve as benchmark for excellent service delivery.
