- I have been a qualified Netball Umpire for around 5 years, of which has ranged through to the ages of 7 years old all the way up to the adults. -This has allowed me to gain a range of assess in management, ensuring the game is well controlled and disciplined.- In addition, the range of ages allows me to apply different management techniques where needed. As for the younger players a reward system is more valuable, however for the older teams, a disciplined game is more effective. - This experience has aided my skills to act under tense situations with patience and ease, whilst dealing not only with the players on court but also the parents of younger players. - Alongside this, I myself have been an avid netball player since a very young age which taught me the respect and regard toward umpires, therefore strive to achieve this throughout each game.
