Working at enterprise we strive in customer service and to make every customer feel that they have been given the best service. I personally look after customer service in my branch and manage all follow ups, meaning I will not let any customer leave feeling like they could have been treated better. Customer service is so important and if you look after your customers the sales will look after themselves. My method has made a success of sales even though my main priority is to treat all customers with exceptional service. I like to build a strong bond with our clients the enterprise way.

Homebase sponsor many different charities and do their best to raise as much money and awareness as possible. However, they are a large company and don't have the time to focus on this aspect completely. Fortunately, this meant that there was an opportunity and a new venture for me. As a student working part-time I can easily adapt from one task to another and did not see the extra responsibility as a challenge. I jumped at the opportunity and since then, I have planned and executed charity events within the store, based on my own ideas. My idea to raffle seasonal stock that was low in demand, managed to raise €1,600 for The Irish Cancer Society. One of the most important aspects in retail is having a large customer base. Too improve footfall I designed social media advertisements, using photos and creative headlines. Social media is the new era of marketing and proved to be successful for us in Homebase, when revenue increased. Homebase can be a competitive place to work as we are constantly analysed on our performance. Online customer feedback surveys were introduced to allow customers to give an honest opinion on the service they received. I received the most positive mentions within the store, on the anonymous survey. This resulted in me having the responsibility to monitor the sites comments in order to improve consumer satisfaction and gain leads on sales.
