Assisting the Clinical Psychologist with the following duties: • Administering and scoring psychometric tests (Conners-3, Stanford Binet, ADOS, TONI-4, WISC-V) of children/young people with visual impairments and multiple additional disabilities.• Co-facilitating group interventions (e.g., anxiety management) as well as psychoeducation and support programmes for family members.• Providing appropriate interventions/support to children and young people• Providing ongoing support and training to staff dealing with issues of learning, behaviour management, managing stress, and future planning. • Continuous research on aspects of visual impairment and its impact on the development /education of children.

I designed two research projects over the space of two years to investigate the experience of growing up with a sibling with Prader-Willi Syndrome. I have presented this research at conferences for PWSAI and IPSWO and continue to assist them with carrying out research in the field. I developed the following transferable skills:• Research/analysis: Experienced in using survey design tools and statistical software packages (Qualtrics/SPSS/MaxQDA) to design surveys and analyse and interpret the data extracted. • Focus group/one-one interview design: Experienced in organising workshops around participants’ availability and creating interview questions relevant to the given research topic. • Interview administration: Experienced in conducting in-depth interviews with participants, both through focus groups and one-one settings.• Presenting at conferences and staying up to date with relevant research in the field of Prader-Willi Syndrome and siblings.

Working under the supervision of the Principal Clinical Psychologist, I carried out the following:• Literature searches and reviewing available research to keep up to date with new developments in the field and informed evidence-based practice.• Auditing group interventions through the analysis of outcome measures using SPSS.• Updating databases, collating, and reporting audit data requirements, presenting, and contributing ideas to the multidisciplinary team involved. • Engaging in multi-disciplinary meetings to discuss active developments in the field of psychological treatments.

• Offering emotional and practical support for individuals in the service. • Developing and implementing plans with the individuals to support them to enhance their personal development and social integration.• Setting and reviewing monthly goals with the individual • Working with the individual to manage their difficulties and to regulate their emotions effectively (e.g., practicing mindfulness, grounding, PMR and using square breathing)• Planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing educational, recreational, and occupational programmes within the community for the individual.
