Having completed Schooling for Saudi Arabia, B.Sc. Textile and MBA (TQM and MIS) from Pakistan, M.Sc. Textile from Germany and Ph.D. (Water Treatment) from China makes me very internationally qualified person. My professional background is even more internationally oriented. I have job experience of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Holland and Switzerland. It was fortunate to learn various languages during my stay worldwide. Chinese is my 7th language in which I can communicate. My travel experience is also vast and Singapore was my 41st country to land into.To have a look into Europe, I decided to do my M.Sc in Textile and Clothing Management from Germany. During my master I got interested in innovation and analytics after studying ‘Innovative Materials and Products’ and ‘Quality and Responsibility Care’. I was also awarded with a paid project from the German Ministry for Innovation where I worked on Fourier Transform Infra-red Microscopy and Spectroscopy to analyze the cleaning efficiency of a washing process for silk and wool. I also taught classes to bachelor level students in Germany.For the last 15 years, I am working in the area of sustainable development certifications and have conducted audits in 20 different countries. Here I gained interest and a lot of experience in sustainable development and organic certifications and also in waste water cleaning.I am also author to a book on organic cotton processing.
