Deployed at BEL, Bangalore for DCS / SCCS Projects.Key Projects and Achievements:PROJECT NAME : Direction Finding Quality Factor (DFQF) CLIENT : BEL, Hyderabad.COMPANY : BEL, Hyderabad.OS : MS-DOS / VxWorks / UnixLANGUAGE : C / C++Project Description; The DFQF Unit is DF Q factor Digitizer. Which takes X and Y Signals from VHF/UHF DF display unit and computes the Quality Factor of the signal whose bearing angle is estimated by DF system. In the system one Single Board Industrial used Computer (486) is used which incorporates DiskOnChip for embedding the software. Data Acquisition Card (DAC) is designed and installed in the system to acquire the analog data that comes from DF unit.DFQF system establishes communication with System Controller through RS-232 using Serial Asynchronous Message Interchange Protocol (SAMIP) i.e. developed by DLRL. As soon as the unit receives request from the System Controller (SC), it in turn's request the Direction Finding Unit to generate the analog signals and acquires the data, processes it and sends back the Quality Factor (QF) of the signals to SC; OS : MS-DOS / VxWorksLANGUAGE : C / C++Project Description; This system has been developed for estimating the Quality Factor and sending back to the different sub systems of Master Controller. The system acts like DFQF system but after getting the data through both input channels it starts processing the data to estimate the Quality Factor.
