Relocated from US to India to serve as a technical and managerial lead for a shared services team of 500+ developers supporting Product owners across the organization. Currently working with teams distributed in two major cities in India, with 2 levels of hierarchy and 4 verticals: Security, DevOps, Product Development and AI. Also directly managed 30 developers in the role of technical product owner for EVA virtual assistant, Scribe AI product, and high performing DevOps development framework which transformed the legacy build system for software development.• Grew our team from 12 to 500 in 10 years. Responsible for hiring new resources and mentoring and developing a growing team. • Started Scrum development methodology across the development department; introduced processes to increase visibility and traceability of development workflow; made company processes compliant with ISO 9001, 25010 and IEC 62304.• As a technology evangelist, drive the organization’s adoption of newer technologies which will help the company achieve better security, performance and lesser development time, including SonarQube, Jira, FishEye, Contrast, Spock in the development lifecycle.• Accelerated new software development from technologies like VB to Angular and Spring; led the conversion of 900,000+ lines of UI code from VB to Angular; migrated current infrastructure to cloud. This product is being rolled out to 130,000 users.• Introduced DevOps practices to the organization. Currently making 100% of our builds automatically, 100% of our code gets scanned for security alerts as we write it and 100% of our code gets reviewed digitally.• Working actively on mitigating OWASP security risks by catching them early by using tools like Sonar and Contrast. As a result, we have first neural network backed virtual assistant in the healthcare industry with full CI/CD pipeline and automated integration and unit tests.

Lead a growing team of thirty developers working on various modules of eClinicalWorks EMR. Was responsible for hiring people who match our company's culture along with the right technical expertise. Also led multiple projects with stiff deadlines and extraordinary standards, including:• Natural Language Processing project with three developers to build Scribe, an NLP engine that allows information extraction from transcribed/dictated text. This engine uses machine learning and pattern matching algorithms with GATE framework.• Wellness web portal, a next-generation healthcare portal that will allow users to track their health and communicate with their physicians.• iOS development for the National Football League EMR project where we have developed an app for all NFL clubs to be used by on-field and out-field physicians.

Designed and developed a communication module of EMR software using Java, JSP, Jquery to create voice, text & fax gateways. These gateways deliver more than 10,000,000 messages today.

• Worked with VBA and SQL server to constantly analyze, modify and improve the company’s Ad Management Software.• Developed Mobile modules using J2EE which interacts with SQL server databases and MS Outlook.• Worked on a project to create WYSIWYG editor within SpaceMaster software to integrate it with Pongrass, a publishing software. The main tasks were to markup the data in Pronto, a proprietary markup language, and to export them to SQL Server database.
