During the selection process for the Soapstone Fellowship, I expressed my vision for the Deaf community to become aware, skilled, and independent through a bilingual methodology. In October, I participated in a 1-month bootcamp focusing on self, EnAble India, and the sector, and I conducted a session on signing professional videos. My internship at EnAble India involved teaching ISL to staff, being open to feedback, and supporting other Fellows' projects, including activities for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. I attended all six online sessions by subject matter experts in December 2023. At the International Purple Fest Goa 2024, I shared MILLYs, submitted a write-up, and made a presentation on my learnings. Between February and April 2024, I interned with the International Deaf Academy, receiving regular feedback. I attended 11 out of 12 weekly peer networking calls and moderated one. As a camp counselor for the Deaf Leadership Program Youth Camp, I learned to be more open and flexible. I concluded my journey by sharing my experiences and learnings through a Pecha Kucha presentation, using the metaphor of growing a plant.

Deaf education is not accessible with Indian Sign Language for all subjects. I worked on a professional ISL signer translation book to ISL.

As an ISL Trainer, I worked as a professional ISL signer for video recordings of NCERT and the Draft National Disability Policy. I conducted practical sessions for DISLI students at ISLRTC and taught ISL and English to deaf students at the Orjet Foundation.
