The company was founded in 2012 with the mission to localise supply for the mass production of sewn goods, enabling the creation of on-demand and made-to-measure local apparel T-Shirt supply chains.This modern, digital approach has enabled SoftWear Automation to reinvent the common and outdated procedures of the textiles industry to provide faster and more efficient services, whilst simultaneously reducing the overall textile waste and water pollution levels that plague the fashion industry, bringing manufacturing closer to the end consumer. The company has been featured in Bloomberg Green, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Forbes, Financial Times, Business Insider, Vogue Business, and The Business of Fashion for its cutting-edge technology and revolutionary outlook on the production and manipulation of soft goods.

As Managing Director, Sapna led the expansion of operations into the Southeast Region for SeedInvest, a New York-based, venture-backed fintech firm. Her primary focus was sourcing highly vetted, early to late stage venture investment opportunities ($250k-20M+ deal size) for the company’s platform investors and also growing the company's investor network. Sapna played an integral role in advocating for and fundraising for the company's 1st $10M early stage Venture Fund. Sapna sourced an allocation on a $30.5M Venture Round for Bitpay, an Atlanta based Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology company, which was the largest deal size sourced for SeedInvest at the time. Bitpay was backed by leading investors, such as Index Ventures, Founders Fund, Richard Branson and Jerry Yang.Sapna also sourced an allocation on a $1.5M Venture Round for Atlanta based, Partpic, a visual recognition technology software solution, which was later acquired by Amazon.Seedinvest is a leading equity crowdfunding platform that connects startups with investors online. The company has 700k+ platform investors and has successfully raised $450M+ on its own platform and $2B+ through its' portfolio companies. The company has been featured in Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, The Economist, and TechCrunch.In October 2018, SeedInvest was acquired by Circle Internet Financial Ltd.

As a Planning Associate, Sapna advised Large Family Offices while working for SignatureFD, an Atlanta-based privately-held investment management firm with $6B+ in assets under management. Sapna was involved with the firm’s SignatureWOMEN initiative, designed to educate and empower women on how to accumulate and preserve wealth in order to achieve financial freedom.

As a Client Advisor Associate with Marsh’s Financial and Professional Liability practice (FINPRO), Sapna served a wide range of clients from privately held companies to Fortune 100 companies including The Home Depot, UPS, and Coca-Cola Company. She consulted her clients regarding insurance risks and issues involving Directors and Officers Liability (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Errors and Omissions Liability (E&O), Cyber, and Fidelity Crime lines of insurance.
