Project Everest is a social enterprise which develops sustainable social ventures to solve some of the most pressing social problems facing communities across Asia, the Pacific, and Africa. o Worked in a small multidisciplinary team, living in country for the month of January 2018.o Employed the Design Thinking methodology; empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test and implement to develop a sustainable fit for purpose waste management system in the Siem Reap provenance. o Conducted sales of prototype within regional village and collected feedback to integrate into product design. o Successfully overcome challenges and 'pivoted'; shifting focus from waste collection service to a glass bottle recycling service. o Conducted a preliminary meeting with Cambodia Brewery Limited (a subsidiary of The Heineken Group) to develop a partnership in glass bottle recycling. o Develop a lean supply chain prototype to enable an autonomous waste management service into the future. o Embodied the business values of Think Moonshot, Work Hard, Make Hard Decisions - Always, Enable Autonomy and Be Raw.
