I worked for Toyoda Gosei Minda India Pvt Ltd in Project & Design department(2012-13). I resigned as a Senior Engineer on 10th September 2013 to pursue higher degree course in Brighton.Toyoda Gosei Minda India Pvt Ltd manufactures parts for Maruti-Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL), Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) and is one of the largest component suppliers to the automobile industry in Asia.During my tenure I worked closely with all of the above customers. I had Independently developed a cost effective part required by Toyota Kirloskar Motor(TKM) named as “end cap” for covering weather-strip opening trim parts. The Result of successful development benefited both the companies in terms of Cost, Durability and Lead Time which motivated me and further got involved in more projects.I was also involved in the new project parts production and quality control process of other parts manufactured by Toyoda Gosei Minda India Pvt Ltd:1. Rubber parts :- Glass run, Opening trim, Weather-strip door, Seal hood to cowl top, Seal hood radiator, Seal hood front end panel & Tailgate.2. Safety parts : - Steering component with Airbag & Passenger air bag.3. Functional parts :- Fuel capIn summary, my postgraduate experiences have given me an excellent grounding in the needs of automobile industry and its suppliers in respect of quality control, efficiency of throughput and reliable supply chain. As a result, I am in a position to apply these experiences to further my knowledge for the benefit of the company.
