CurrentConduct initial meetings with clients and stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, and budget constraints.Conduct site analysis to assess environmental factors, site conditions, and regulatory requirements.Research local building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements relevant to the project.Develop initial design concepts and schematic drawings based on client input, site analysis, and project requirements.Create mood boards, sketches, and renderings to illustrate design concepts and communicate ideas to clients and project teams.Incorporate principles of sustainability, universal design, and environmental stewardship into the design process.Analyze spatial requirements and functional needs to develop efficient and effective space plans.Determine circulation patterns, adjacency requirements, and spatial relationships to optimize the layout of interior and exterior spaces.Produce detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.Research and specify appropriate building materials, finishes, and fixtures based on aesthetic, functional, and performance criteria.Consider factors such as durability, maintenance requirements, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.Create material boards and schedules to document material selections for client approval and construction procurement.Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and project teams to present design concepts, progress updates, and project deliverables.
