Working as a freelancer Dispatch manager for 3 different Trucking companies based in USA. My job is to coordinate with a variety of truck load brokerage by using different platforms such as Dat trucker edge, Spot freight's red tech, Truckstop.com and many other brokerage loads portals to provide loads booking services to more than 10 trucks on daily basis. I am sole responsible for booking loads to delivering it. Not just that but these loads are paid via factoring companies so I would ensure if the brokerage we are doing loads with, is approved with our factoring company or not. Job Responsibilities- Booking loads for 10 different 53 Dry vans on daily basis -Calling brokers on daily basis to secure loads on good prices- Lanes would include from North east to east coast and what comes in between them-Most usual lanes are NJ, PA, OH, TX, CA and in some cases FL and AZ.-Making sure the loads booked are lighter in weight as heavy weights are difficult to do and the cost per mile is greater, also it it would result in truck damages and increases the probably of breaking down of trucks- Ensuring the brokers are approved with our factoring company-Registering with the new brokers on daily basis via RMIS or by filling the packets sent by brokers in pdf formats- Providing brokers with the company's complete required paper works such as MC Authority letters, W9 and certificate of insurance, this would be termed as compliance work.-Coordinating with insurance company to nominate a broker, certificate of holders when demanded by the broker. -Getting Rate confirmations from the brokers, signing them on carrier's behalf and sharing all the dispatch info with specific driver assigned to the load.-Once the load is picked, i would make sure the load is tracked through out the process, from picking it to delivering it-Answering brokers calls to provide them with real time updates and also relay them necessary info in the times of delays in load deliveriesWorking as a freelancer Dispatch manager for 3 different Trucking companies based in USA.
