My role as a lab technician in Sleep Lab is gathering information from patients and recording them into the patients' files, putting electrodes in the specific spots of patients' bodies to check their brain activities, assessing the signals that I receive from electrodes by doing several calibrations, taking care of patients during the sleep study, and finally cleaning the lab's equipment as per applicable SOPs.Working at this lab has provided me with some valuable experiences such as communicating effectively with others, practicing to read SOPs, and working at night shift, which vastly will help me in my future job.

I worked as a medical laboratory technologist at Dr. Daneshbod's histopathology lab, which is one of the top medical labs in Shiraz, with an average of 300 patients per day. This experience made me familiar with the high load of work. In addition, fortunately, I had the opportunity to work in different sections of the lab such as hormonology, hematology, biochemistry, serology, microbiology, urine analysis, and blood sampling during these years.Moreover, I had the opportunity of 3 years working in the hormonology section, to work with different techniques such as ELISA, RIA, Chemilominesence that have provided me with wonderful experiences that I can use in the medical and even non-medical labs. In addition, pipetting is a basic and essential skill to work with these techniques that I improved completely during these years and I still work on it to keep this important skill.
