I’m currently a Full time student at Ursinus College and part time student at Yellowbrick. My interests are pharmaceuticals and fashion. I’ve been captivated by medicine and fashion since I was a kid. I learned how to administer shots, IVs, and stitches at an early age. Though I was young I preferred administering shots and preparing IVs for people back in Iran. I wasn’t a fan of blood. I learned under my mother and a Persian doctor. I believe everyone deserves a right to medicine and deserves to feel safe and welcomed in their environment. I will be a great pharmacist because I genuinely am happiest when I am working in my pharmacies. Creating a warm and welcoming environment is my first nature. I spent most of my life taking care of my mother through surgeries and illnesses. I know not everything works out and sometimes people are going to be in pain. But a friendly smile and caring friend is sometimes what people need most and I know I can be that for my community. At the same time I use my passion for Fashion. I am inspired by art and history and drive them into my designs. I’ve been a working student in colleges Moore and programs to get a grasp of the different fields of fashion. Recently I spent my time online for the Yellowbrick Fashion collective where I studied in a 6 month program under a designer from Greece on how to enhance and understand which field in fashion would be best for me. I love my culture and strive my passion, designs, and identity from it. Persian architecture and poetry is so beautiful I choose to incorporate it and a few neighboring countries in my designs. I inspire to be a courtier and/or personal stylist. While I am a student I currently work as a pharmacy technician, home health aid, spiritual life designer, and personal stylist. During my time at Yellowbrick I have improved on my networking skills creating connections in a few brands and designers globally. I am excited to take on projects with them. I like to see the art in fashion and believe not every design needs to have a story but a beautiful creation that creates a comfortable and confident feeling for the wearer. The careers have separate paths but are the same to me and I cannot wait to be a pharmasist and designer.
