In this position, she was the leader of numerous IAN initiatives, including overseeing 10 annual statewide conferences, communications strategy and implementation, and advocacy strategy and implementation at both the state and national levels.Sara was a White-Riley-Peterson Policy Fellow, a Journey Executive Fellow, and an Indiana Arts Commission Individual Artist grant recipient. She holds her master's degree from the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, Bloomington. She has completed continuing education at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education with the Project Zero Classroom Institute and the Maine Media Workshops in documentary and storytelling courses.
