Plant Scheduling Manager is responsible for managing between 4-6 plant schedulers in a 1.5 million sq. foot print facility. Additional responsibilities include creating, communicating, and executing the current and future production schedules in the most efficient method while meeting the needs of internal and external customers. Daily interaction with sales force and responsible for reviewing sales orders and quote to meet acceptable customer schedules. Point of contact for coordinating the most efficient production methods while decreasing waste and ensuring the lowest costs. Facilitator of Preproduction meetings with all departments daily. Magazine Scheduling Manager is responsible for providing daily production capabilities for the production of People, Entertainment Weekly, Sports Illustrated and Time Magazine production across 5 plants within the United States.
