Facilitated in check requisition forms for rights payments to photo agencies or photographers for images used in local language editions of National Geographic Kids magazines. Participated in weekly staff production and projection meetings as well as weekly "wall walks" (meetings with editors to approve working drafts of magazine layouts) of both kids and adults NG Magazines. Approved contracts, sample invoices, and sample lay-outs. Assisted in monthly department meetings, regarding magazine and book growth and design.

As gallery administrator, responsibilities included assisting in national campaign work, sales follow up, hosting events at the Laguna location, consigning works, preparing artwork for shipping, communicating with artists, signing new artwork in, researching art history and artist background, preparing brochures and catalogues, and proofreading press releases. As executive assistant, responsibilities included data entry, updating information in CRM systems like Salesforce, filing, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, QuickBooks entries, packaging and mailing, answering emails and phone calls, and overseeing the gallery floor when CEO or Associate Curator was not there. Proudest Achievement: Writing up my first press release, printing it up and distributing it at the Montage Hotel, and then overseeing the event, which I hired and managed for the night.

Responsible for meeting and greeting show guests, escorting them around the studio, preparing them for make-up, and placing the microphones on their persons' before they went on the show. I was also responsible for leading them to the stage, seating them, and determining whether their seat had to be lowered or raised. All of these responsibilities were performed during the quick 30 second - minute breaks between the hosts' reports. Other duties included researching weekly events and preparing an OC Calendar for the studio with various events for audience members to attend; preparing sound clips as well as picture and video bit clips for the events and organize it all in a PowerPoint to submit to the studio director. After three months, began training out in the field, following and shadowing many of the field reporters. On the field, responsibilities included learning to handle the cameras, microphones, and wireless mic connections on the field. Received training on voice-overs, entry sound clips, and tele-prompters. Proudest Achievement: Hosts Ed Arnold and Ann Pulice gave an impromptu and surprise "good bye" on my last episode, thanking me for the hard work. My dad still has the recording on our TiVo!!
