Organised and self-motivated professional with 30 years experience in the hospitality industry as a member of the McDonalds Restaurant Ltd. corporate leadership function. As a leader within McDonalds, I was fortunate to be part of a leadership scheme that allowed me to rotate and experience various departments and roles building on my business and people skills. Throughout my 30 years’ service, I completed several secondments including Human Resources, Training, Health & Safety, Operations and Franchising. All roles required significant experience in managing aspects of people and culture with focus on providing excellent customer service, both internally as well as external. It also required the ability to manage change, be progressive, problem solve and have detailed administration skills. I spent a considerable time in my career supporting the McDonalds Franchisee’s on how to run their business effectively, whilst maintaining fully compliant to the company systems with focus on efficiency and high quality service and business practices. This was achieved by building positive working relationships and effective collaborations. I took a short career break to home school my daughter during the Pandemic and recently I have taken an administration and teaching assistant role to transition back into the workplace. This has enabled me to continue utilising my strong organisation and people skills while continuing to learn and develop new skills, processes, and policies fundamental to a teaching environment. My key skill is my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and fields of expertise with many commendations over the years on my integral people and culture skills, based on a firm foundation of quality and compliance.
