Provides support for the ESS students under the supervision of the ESS Director. Implements academic and social emotional interventions to support students in their education setting, whether it be remote or in-person learning. Provides behavioral interventions and social emotional support to students on campus.

Providing support to the middle school cohort throughout their core classroom time. Responsible for assisting the teacher in running an accessible classroom by providing additional educational guidance and tutoring, behavioral interventions, learning resources & visual aides, and filling in responsibilities as needed throughout other grade levels during lunch, breaks, and after school activities.

Transitioned from Skills Training to a Job Developer dedicated to the Project SEARCH programs at the Zoo & Airport. Responsible for developing employer relationships to identify job opportunities for individuals who are graduating from Project SEARCH and receiving Supported Employment services while addressing employer needs. Markets the skills and strengths of job seekers while utilizing specific sales approaches and negotiation skills to meet job placement goals. Partners with Project SEARCH, individuals, schools, host sites and their support teams to instruct and guide in job-seeking skills, self-image and attitude, and provides counseling, advocacy, and assistance in problem-solving, as needed. Organizes and leads the Business Advisory Council and Project SEARCH Job Developers in developing meaningful job preparation activities geared towards preparing interns for the work world. (85% successful placement rate for the 2018-19 cohort)

Transitioned from my Job Coach role to a Skills Trainer & Curriculum Lead Role at the first Project SEARCH program in an airport. While maintaining responsibilities held as a job coach, I managed day-to-day onsite programing while supporting a intern cohort of six by facilitating the curriculum used in the training room, building vocational skills training curriculum, and providing soft skills training, and job development preparations in the Milwaukee County Airport setting partnering with one additional Skills Trainer. We assisted the interns in leading their Employment Planning Meetings which lead to 100% employment for each intern.

Provided on the job training and coaching for individuals whose goal is to become independent in their job setting. Provided support so individuals can progress to their full potential and learn strategies that will help them perform their job accurately, efficiently, safely, and successfully. Responsibilities included maintaining participant files, writing case notes and other various reports, holding transition and staffing meetings, and updating participant's teams of any changes to a client's progress or work setting. Created materials to support participants in becoming more independent. Corresponded with with employers to keep updated on participant's progress and challenges faced in the workplace.

Provided therapy on a one-to-one basis and was an active part of a collaborative team of therapists working to support clients in reaching their full potential by implementing behavior treatment plans as designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst focused on building a client's skills, reduce problem behavior, and support behavior that would allow the client to achieve their maximum potential in Language & Communication, Social Skills & Play, Pre-Academic Skills, and Daily Living Skills. Taught in a classroom with two students with special needs, ran educational programs as designed by the education specialist, met with education specialist to discuss program development.

Implemented individualized treatment programs designed to build a client’s skills, reduce problem behavior, and support behavior that allows the client to achieve their maximum potential in Language & Communication, Social Skills & Play, Pre-Academic Skills, and Daily Living Skills, used a variety of teaching methods including: verbal behavioral approaches, discrete trial teaching, and natural environment teaching, worked under the direct supervision of a BCBA(Board Certified Behavior Analyst), completed 40 hours of additional training and passed the Registered Behavior Technician Competency Assessment & Exam.

Provided one-on-one behavioral support to a first grader with developmental delays in the areas of social skills & communication, participated in team meetings to create a list of individualized goals, collaborated with a Board Certified Behavior Analysts to create a specialized program designed to target the client’s goals, ran individual program & collected data while assisting other students in the classroom with basic academic needs, trained a variety of school staff on strategies to assist the client integrate into a standard classroom setting, assisted his teacher during lesson plans to ensure opportunity for the client to work on his goals, transported client to and from school, planned extracurricular activities in which the client could practice basic daily living skills.

Managed & maintained an efficient studio office by; arranging schedules, processing payments, training new employees, constructing client emails, organizing products, assisting head photographer at photo shoots ranging from families with special needs children to large corporate events, managing over 100 clientele files and in house folders, hand delivered as well as packaged and mailed products to clientele, and completed custom graphic design & marketing projects.

Accountable for a case load of 35 high school students with special needs, taught and assisted in six class periods geared toward DHH(Deaf/Hard of Hearing) students working on job & daily living skills, created IEP(Individual Education Plans) for high school students with special needs, accompanied students to job sites to provide job coaching in real-world environments, trained staff and maintained communication with teachers to ensure the students received proper accommodations in the classroom & on their job sites, trained teachers & school staff on the communication & academic needs of the DHH students in their classrooms.

Lead an all day summer school program for 8 DHH preschool students, created lesson plans that supported goals taken from the students’ Individual Education Plans, delegated responsibilities and supervised two teacher’s aides, orchestrated a new lunch & snack procedure for all students.

Organized and implemented tutoring services for UCF students preparing for exams in their Speech Science courses(SPA3011: Speech Production & SPA3123: Speech Perception), created customized study guides & review material, offered private one-on-one tutoring sessions as well as review sessions for groups of 3-10 individuals as needed for exams.
