In this more strategic role, I have complete responsibility for the product roadmap and life cycle of ABB’s Knowledge Manager system – the market leader production and quality information management system in the cement industry.One of my proudest achievements was transforming the business model from perpetual deliveries with one-off income to a term-license model, growing the yearly recurrent revenues from zero to multi-million Swiss Francs.Apart from traditional technical responsibilities I also take care of:− Evaluating and prioritizing the overall product improvement roadmap, to ensure its evolution providing continuous market fit and value to our end-users.− Managing pricing and licensing models.− Analyzing markets, customers, and installed base to identify new business opportunities.− Driving and coordinating product improvement initiatives working across the organization with multi-functional teams.− Enabling sales teams to grow their sales pipelines.
