In this role, my responsibilities include general office duties for a wide client base focused in the hills area. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, assisting clients, filing and general office administration. In this position, I also assist the in-house counsel in general legal research and By-Law investigation. In addition to these duties, I am responsible for business development, including but not limited to increasing clientele and marketing.

While working in this role, I was responsible for the management of a small business within the fitness industry. Alongside managing up to 15 staff, responsibilities included liaising with clients, marketing, social media and business development. I had a customer centric approach and aimed to foster a positive community environment by organising client wide activities and events.

In this role, my primary responsibility was conversing with clients in the client intake process. This involved communicating with clients, identifying legal issues and entering data into the CLASS system. In this role, I was afforded an deeper understanding of the role of the community legal center and barriers faced by disadvantaged individuals when accessing justice within New South Wales.

Through university, I interned remotely with Bahay Tuluyan as a part of the wider Network Against Killings. This included compiling a database of extra-judicial killings and researching human rights abuses in the Philippines and contributing towards a report analysing trends and highlighting human rights abuses. This experience afforded me experience in working remotely and the struggles faced by small non-governmental organisations.
