As a Research Assistant for the Cal CARE study, I am expected to run weekly lab sessions. During these lab sessions I am expected to interact with participants and complete various tasks such as hooking up participants to physiological equipment, track session times, track physio signals, schedule participant diaries, take blood pressure readings and more. The purpose of the study is to understand how people achieve psychological well-being and health, and the role that emotions, emotion regulation, and social connection play in it.
