Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom educator to establish an engaging learning experience for students. Supervise the classroom effectively to encourage student participation and minimize distractions. Adapt teaching methods for grades 1 – 5 to attend to the needs of all students. Ensure students safety by supervising inside and out of the classroom and during lunch hours on the playground. Facilitate a virtual classroom of up to thirty students at once from various grade levels. Communicate with teachers grades 1- 5 to create structured plans for the students who are quarantining at home. Facilitate and teach in person classes and subjects for grades 1 - 5 when their general education teacher is absent.

Worked with cooperating teacher to developed stimulating unit and lesson plans based on weekly and marking period goals. Planned classes using “Everyday Mathematics” and “National Geographic” textbooks and digital media. Implemented a classroom rewards program to improve students homework submission rate. Cooperated with other 2nd grade teachers to create engaging lessons that incorporated the common core standards• Helped incorporating iPads and Kahoot! games to asses students’ weekly progress and understanding of the material. Worked with camp’s athletic director developing, organizing, and coordinating summer camp sports and recreational activities for up to eight hundred primary school age campers (K - 9 grade). Helped improving camp’s visibility and turnout with social media campaigns.

- Supervised office when athletic trainers were not present, taught 6 new employees about expectations held for office.- Implemented cohesive plans with coworkers to be able to attend to all 10 different sports teams at once.

Worked sophomore field experience (student observation) in a 4th grade classroom.
