During my time in the Department of Operational Excellence at NGHS, I worked alongside senior project leaders and consultants to apply project management and lean six sigma frameworks and analysis; such as DFSS, DMAIC, Pareto analysis, CTQ identification, FMEA, and statistical analysis; to organization-wide projects such as improving patient flow and meeting financial stewardship goals. The application of these tools provided clarity to senior management on current state operations and allowed their teams to identify key metrics on which to focus improvement efforts in later stages of the projects.
