Hello! I'm Sara.I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and a second Master’s degree in Cybersecurity Operations & Resilience at BSU. I am also in the process of learning as much as I can about different coding and programming languages such as Python using Linux, Anaconda, Visual Studio, PowerShell, etc. with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. I have and am working on several cybersecurity industry-recognized certifications such as Sec+, CEH, CNDA, CPENT, Cybersecurity Governance Policy Administration, Cybersecurity Analyst & Threat Intelligence, CISSP Associate, etc. I have also taught Python and Networking as an adjunct professor at CWI in Fall 2022 & 2023. Additionally, I have set up the hardware, software, and networks for my own businesses from the ground up as well as for other individuals, I have provided cybersecurity risk assessments, established security practices and policies for my employees, and performed cybersecurity risk vulnerability analysis and consulting in the past as an independent consultant. Owning my own businesses has also given me experience in advertising, marketing, social media, fiscal management, strategic planning, foundational policy-making, and regular assessments of each. I have several years of experience in education, as I substitute taught in the Meridian Idaho School District for almost ten years. I have also presented internationally at schools in Africa and given lectures to various audiences, including local and international adult learner venues. Talks included medical care, ecological conservation, and cyber awareness. I have collaborated over the years with both Engineers and Leadership throughout Micron as well as community members through my businesses and educational contacts to create cyber awareness campaigns, new business rules, policies, procedures, learning materials, optimize operational efficiencies and KPI's, proof and audit policies and procedures, test new programs and system rollouts, supervise the maintenance and updating of training profiles and oversee the training of numerous individuals.I have also participated in collaborative discussions amongst many of my peers to generate ideas that will aid in the proliferation of cyber awareness and hands-on cybersecurity learning experiences for others, emphasizing virtual labs for competition readiness.
