Proposal Management • Manage proposal production team including proposal coordinators, copy editors, graphic designers, accounting specialists, and technical writers• Lead solution architect responsible for technical solutions that are cutting-edge, aligned with customer needs, and leverage the strengths of the technical operations team• Serve as the day-to-day link between the business development team and the applied research divisions• Identify and obtain all internal and external resources required to successfully complete large-scale, complex proposals• Lead process-improvement efforts that incorporate best practices into proposal development activitiesCapture Management • Lead the planning, preparation, and execution of capture management activities for large proposal efforts, tradeshows, and other customer-interfacing events• Identify upcoming opportunities aligned with strategic objectives• Serve as the liaison between applied research team members and government and industry partners• Analyze the organization’s strategic plans and products for competitive advantage• Prepare regular internal executive presentations on capture and proposal activities

Project Manager• Responsible for managing a team of software developers, engineers, UI/UX designers, data modelers, and researchers • Manage schedule, budget, risks, and sponsor/ customer expectations during an agile development and evaluation process• Oversee the determination of optimum technical tasks/processes required to complete projects• Estimate resources required (labor hours, appropriate technical personnel, equipment) needed to complete technical training projects

Front End Analysis • Led task analysis outlining the tasks and interactions for F-35 pilots utilizing the JSF HMDS• Led sensory task analysis and cue fidelity analysis with call for fire (CFF) subject matter experts• Led training needs assessment for a combat medic trainer with Patrick and Nellis AFB casualty extrication instructors• Performed cognitive task analysis with Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) for baggage screening tasks Experimental Design/ Testing• Led experimental design development and execution including overseeing protocol and hypothesis development, recruiting, screening, scheduling, pilot testing, and data collection and analysis• Human Protections Administrator (support protocol, informed consent, and manage continuing review process for all open IRB protocolsTechnical Writing and Literature Reviews• Led numerous literature reviews including investigating the impact of odors on human state and performance, perceptual skills in baggage screening, and emotionally-charged military simulation training environments• Led development of system requirements and specifications documents, test bed requirements, monthly and final reports to contract sponsors, user manuals, publications and patentsUsability Evaluation/ Interface Design• Led usability evaluation for an instructor operating station prototype for a reusable casualty extrication trainer and medical metric suite training mannequin for combat medic tasks• Performed usability evaluation for major appliance company and presented results to sponsor• Led iterative interface design and requirements development for PC, tablet, and mobile interfaces for a variety of software applications as well as software-hardware interfaces including physiological sensors
