Additionally, I continued providing technical support to workers and stores.Some of my most notable projects were:- The modernization of the communication infrastructure between Spain and Portugal and the company's headquarters in Sweden: We supervised the installation of hardware in the data centre, and coordinated all the necessary technology providers so that the project was carried out without causing operational interruptions.- The update of the IT platform used by the 180 H&M stores in the Iberian Peninsula: In order to migrate the operating system of all the equipment without technical issues, we first conducted a pilot test in 25 stores.- The implementation of new capacity-control technology to comply with Covid19 regulations: We had to test 2 different technologically solutions, which was a great challenge since we had to adapt these solutions to the internal protocols. The selected solution was installed in 80 stores.- The digitalization of the stores’ clothing picking process: Clothing selection was done manually and all records were kept manually, which generated many errors and inefficiencies in stock control. Individual communication devices were installed, automatic label generation systems were implementes, and the Wi-Fi infrastructure was improved, so the implementation of the product selection system called “Allocation by light” was achieved.-The implementation of a universal log-in system for all workers in Spain and Portugal: After an initial pilot phase, the roll-out of a universal credential system was deployed for the group's 1,200 users.- The improvement of the technological infrastructure of the company's 8 offices in the Iberian Peninsula: The migration from MPLS to a data line was coordinated, ensuring that the local ISP providers and the global H&M team carried out the necessary procedures.
