Hello! My name is Sara Dietsch and I am a first-year computer science student at Georgetown University. My journey into the world of coding began during my sophomore year of high school when I took AP Computer Science Principles, sparking my fascination with logic, creativity, and computational thinking. I am proficient in Python and Java, and currently expanding my skill set with C++. My academic pursuits go beyond computer science, as I am also working toward minors in Studio Art and Business, blending my technical and creative interests.Outside the classroom, I am actively involved in the Georgetown community, participating in H*yas for Choice and the Georgetown Run Club. I plan to complete my third half marathon this spring.I am excited to continue building my expertise in software development, with a particular interest in applying technology to innovative, real-world challenges.

This experience not only granted me invaluable insights through classroom learning but also exposed me to the rich historical and political background in Washington D.C. and beyond through touring locations in the D.C. area and interacting with peers from every corner of the world.
