April 2019– CurrentTraining and Placement Coordinator During my role as Team Leader/ Supervisor due to my organisational, educational and training skills I was seconded into the Training and Placement role for the Federation/ PCN due to the long- term illness of a current staff member. This was made permanent in September 2019This role has included the development, implementation and review of all training for the 5 GP practices within our PCN, as well as to plan and facilitate educational opportunities and programmes for all clinical and non-clinical staff.I am pro-actively working, leading and developing the training HUB and SPOKE model and attend all strategic meetings to develop funding and training provision available.Within my role for the Freshney Green Primary Care Workforce Training Hub, I manage and support 26 GP Practices in the North and North East Lincolnshire areas; extensively working with all primary care partners, practice managers and lead nurses to provide and develop training programmes and opportunities to develop their work force – new and existing.I work closely with the local CCG leads in facilitating meetings and event, supporting GP Practices in their awareness, training and knowledge of all new initiatives such as Training Nurse Associate, ACP, Return to Work Nurse, Senor Health Care Apprenticeships; as well as supporting funding and levy requirements/ options.I plan, arrange and chair as well as participate in all training and planning meetings.I liaise with inspectors, Universities, educational establishments, managers, partners, and staff to implement training to the required CQC standards. This also includes an active role in infection controlI also develop and strengthen key links with NHS organisations, non- NHS establishments, other practices, actual and potential business clients.
