After completing 3 1/2 years towards a degree in Business Management, a volunteer experience set me on the right career path. I volunteered for Junior Achievement as a way to boost my resume, and instead found out that I LOVED being in the classroom. I graduated that spring with a major in Business Management and a minor in Applied and Organizational Communication. I took a job with Finish Line as a manager trainee, but my heart was never in it. Less than a year later I had applied to graduate school at Ball State and was enrolled in teacher training courses at the graduate level. After one year of classes I was student teaching and have been blessed to find work at fantastic schools ever since. I love teaching Business Education courses and can't imagine doing anything else!
