  • Science Through Story, Llc
    Founder & Principal
Science Through Story, Llc Aug 2020 - Present
Science is a search for evidence, but science communication is a search for meaning. Nothing makes content more meaningful than a good story. Drawing inspiration from creative processes used in film and other art industries, I offer tools to help scientists engage both general and specialist audiences through stories. Using examples from art and scientific research, I explore how to humanize a subject through effective written, oral, and visual storytelling. As a scientist and educator, I understand your communication challenges. I use my methods to share my own scientific research with scientists and general audiences alike. And with over 300 hours of experience offering workshops, seminars, webinars, and consultations, I know how to train scientists and educators effectively. I use science storytelling in many different contexts, with past clients ranging from universities to nonprofits to corporations. Find out more at www.sciencethroughstory.orgNote: Science Through Story, LLC, did pro bono work only during the year I was working at Weber Shandwick.
