As a researcher at DTU, with over 10 years of experience in thin film solar cell production. It has been my mission to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for renewable energy, using my strong technical foundation in materials and process engineering and my skills science communication, project management, and preparing successful funding applications.In this role, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to drive cross-disciplinary and international research projects. I am a proficient science communicator, with experience in designing and developing new courses, publishing in high-impact journals, and presenting at conferences and workshops. I am also a laboratory manager and a nano- and chemical responsible person, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the chemical laboratories and cleanroom. I enjoy working in a dynamic and stimulating environment, where I can learn from and share my knowledge and experience with others.

Ph.D. Project• Synthesized and characterized inorganic semiconducting nanoparticles for solar cell applications.• Experience with ink formulation and characterization by thermal analysis.• Experience with wet chemical coating techniques (spray-coating, spin-coating, drop casting, chemical bath deposition).• Studied the effect of pre-annealing and annealing conditions on grain growth, including time, temperature, atmosphere, partial pressure of reacting species, and effect of dopants.• Characterized thin film solar cells in terms of their microstructural evolution and optoelectronic properties.• Set up and maintained a synthesis lab, and was part of building an annealing oven.• Managing my own three year project.• Presented work at several conferences (MRS, EMRS, EU PVSEC, Kesterite conference, etc.)

• Optimize efficiency of organic nanostructured photovoltaic cells based on spin-coated pentacene and PCBM with focus on increased donor-acceptor interface area as a result of self-assembly and improved light-management. • Characterize morphology using AFM, SEM, polarization microscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and optical microscopy.• Characterize performance using I-V curves.• Analyze scientific literature for knowledge about performance dependence on active layers thickness, concentration, solvent, deposition conditions, and the use of an electron and/or hole-blocking layer• Learned standard nitrogen glovebox practice.

• Fabricated novel design of a microstructured Si framework in which a proton exchange membrane (Nafion) was attached.• Investigated optimal geometry of Si framework to increase power outage.• Learned standard cleanroom practice.

• Collected and analyzed information about relevant environmental technologies’ action plans on behalf of the Nordic Council.• Examined the interest of municipalities for new technologies.• Analyzed qualitative responses from telephone interviews.

• Studied a series of metal nanocluster, e.g. Pt and Au, for the use as a cathode in water electrolysis, and how the nanoparticles size and surface properties influenced the catalytic activity.• Learned standard lab practice.
