This architecture and planning practice operates as an Employee Owned Trust (EOT). The responsibility of the Board of Trustees is to oversee the governance and long-term development of the business for the benefit of all the beneficiaries who are the employees of the business.

Providing advice on all aspects of property development including planning, design, construction, and fit-out. Projects include advising the Victoria & Albert Museum on their new premises to be built in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Also acting as Client Representative for the redevelopment of a Victorian warehouse in Clerkenwell into commercial offices. Successfully advised the owners of a warehouse in East London on the unconditional sale of their property to a residential developer.

Managed all aspects of Swiss Re’s 180-metre, 40-storey, Foster-designed building in the City of London, including construction and fit-out; selecting and managing interior design firms; dealing with all external relations regarding the building (planning authorities, local community, government agencies, etc.); managing all media and communications issues, both internal and external; coordinating retail and commercial leasing; establishing the property management regime; and managing the relocation from Swiss Re’s multiple London premises to the new building. Project delivered on time and in budget (£400 million).

Responsible for all aspects of building Swiss Re America’s new 300,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Armonk, NY, including site selection, land purchase negotiations, negotiation of State and local building incentives, base building and interior design, planning approvals, construction management and relocation of 550 staff. The project, with over 50 contractors and consultants contracted directly to Swiss Re, was completed on time and within the $100 million budget.
