I studied the adhesion properties of additive manufacturing of solid rocket propellant. I assisted in designing, executing, and analyzing results of experiments. I utilized Vibration Assisted Printing (VAP) technology to manufacture solid propellant samples. I worked alongside a graduate student mentor to better understand physical properties of 3D printed rocket propellant.

I worked as an undergraduate researcher in the Advancing Army Modernization Priorities - Energetic Materials program (AAMP-EM). I studied the formulation of composite energetic materials with a specific focus on the fabrication of reactive wires and filaments. I calculated and mixed formulations, fabricated filament in a melt-extrude process, and tested the formulations through flame and burn rate testing with various high-speed cameras. At the end of the program, I wrote a technical paper summarizing my findings, participated in a poster show, and was given the opportunity to give a talk about my work at the AAMP symposium. I received the Research Excellence Award and the AAMP-UP Ambassador award.
