· Prepare medical charts prior to a patient's office visit to advise the physician of the assessment and plan from the previous visit.· Place orders for various prescriptions as dictated by the physician.· Create the after visit summary, which provides detailed instructions of any medications or after care that must be followed by the patient

· Accompany healthcare providers into the patient examination rooms in order to transcribe the patient’s history, physical exam findings, consultations, labs, X-rays, and other evaluations, as stated by the provider, directly into the medical record· Provide advanced support to providers, including documenting phone calls, alerting the physician when labs/radiology reports are complete, and processing admit and discharge paperwork· Utilize my Spanish speaking skills to act as an interpreter for my healthcare providers and theirpatients

· Interview patient’s for the National Association of Community Health Centers cutting-edge pilot project that aim to provide health centers with patient self-care tools to be placed in the hands of patients as part of new and advancing virtual care· Monitor and follow up with patients to test the impact of patient self-care tools in a virtual care setting, as well as offering assistance in Spanish, in order to cater to our Hispanic population of patients· Analyze data to understand the experience and lessons of applying Patient Care Kits as part ofvirtual care for the benefit of health centers nationally

• Recruited patients for the Mi Propio Camino Project to understand the disparities of medical adherence in two different socioeconomic demographics. • Administered a questionnaire regarding management of high blood pressure to both Spanish and English speaking patients at the Gottschalk Medical Office. • Conducted interviews on community leaders, healthcare workers, and patients that analyzed the effects of COVID-19 on their everyday life, along with their attitudes and beliefs of the social and economic impact of COVID 19. Transcribed patient interviews in both Spanish and English. • Spearheaded the Teaching Kitchen project that analyzed the benefits of a series of hands-on cooking classes as a treatment for pre-diabetic and diabetic patients, specifically for Spanish speaking patients. Created a pre/post-class survey and examined the data collected using various data analysis

Responsible for upholding the Ultimate Wax Experience. Duties include opening and closing location, making reservations, exemplifying great customer service and selling wax passes and products.

• Shadowed two Palliative Care Doctors, residents, and medical students as they made rounds at the UCI Medical Center. • I learned how to adopt professional conversational skills with staff, patients, and patient’s family, when discussing sensitive issues, such as cancer or other terminal illnesses.
