Through the utilization of proteomic and transcriptomic technologies, I gained experience in dissecting molecular pathways and translating research findings into clinical applications. Additionally, my role equipped me with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and oversee both wet and dry lab operations. This collaborative effort facilitated the presentation of my research findings at international conferences and the publication of peer-reviewed articles. Overall, this experience enhanced my proficiency in project management and planning under challenging circumstances, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, which demanded exceptional adaptability and problem-solving skills while upholding rigorous standards of quality and integrity in my scientific research. Indeed, conserved gene expression is an indication of a gene function maintained during evolution, indicating a crucial role attributed to the gene. The comparison was carried out between three species : Danio rerio, Mus musculus, and Homo sapiens. The study highlighted genes enriched in pancreatic progenitors. Among these genes, many transcription factors identified as being crucial in the differentiation of pancreatic cells were present. Show less
