•Full responsibility for general ledger, accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls related to All Rights Artist ("ARA") contracts with Madonna, Shakira, Jay-Z, Nickelback and U2. •In charge of preparing budget and monthly forecasts for Artist Management, Recordings, Sponsorships and Media Rights companies. Tracked and reported performance against forecast, budget and prior year results. Identified and quantified risks and opportunities to forecast for submission to upper management. •Developed monthly cash flow forecasts for all ARA companies; worked closely with Treasury to ensure all working capital needs were met and excess funds were properly invested. •Reviewed and consolidated ARA royalty statements from all of Live Nation's business units.•Investigated accounting treatment for complex transactions; documented such findings and presented them to upper management and external auditors. •Supervised A/R, A/P, and collections. •Evaluated proposed Media Rights projects to assess risk and forecast ROI. •In conjunction with Legal department, negotiated contract terms with distributors/licensees of audio visual masters domestically and internationally. •Served as liaison between Corporate and the Artist Services ("AS") companies. Duties included planning and conducting operational audits of the significant departments within the company’s various cruise lines. Primary focus of the audits was to identify revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities as well as to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of existing policies and procedures. Responsibilities also included the preparation of a management report summarizing the audit’s findings and recommendations and meeting with top management to discuss the feasibility of such recommendations as well as to follow up on their implementation.
