I am a second year PhD student in the School of Architecture and Design at Virginia Tech. My research aims to provide a tool for designers, through using AR technology and lighting simulations, that helps in enhancing the design and decision making process in terms of evaluating the possible lighting contexts and choosing the best to achieve healthy lighting indoor environments. The study addresses finding an appropriate methods to weave those technologies into the design process to support the goal of improving the overall quality of life for inhabitants.
