Graduate Role training in Corporate Tax at KPMG Gatwick after 9 months in the KPMG Tax Business School. I am currently working towards a CA and tax qualification with ICAS.I gained experience across many areas of Corporate Tax compliance and tax advisory ranging from basic tax computations and tax governance to due diligence processes and domestic and international restructuring projects. I worked with a range of clients of varying sizes and across a number of sectors.

Credit Card Consultant for both Personal and Business Credit Cards. I mainly dealt with customers on a first point of contact basis. My responsibilities included dealing with a wide range of customer requests and issues, such as taking payments, managing credit limits, aiding customers in financial difficulty and resolving customer complaints.I kept up to date with ever-changing security procedures and FCA guidelines and have been responsible for rolling out new guidelines and procedures to my team in weekly team meetings. I worked towards and regularly exceeded quarterly sales and service quality targets, on an individual and team basis.

Bartender and Supervisor in a busy city centre bar and nightclub. My responsibilities included helping to coordinate a team of around 20 other bar staff, performing stock counts and arranging stock delivery and rotation, cashing up tills and counting both the club takings and staff wages each week. I also aided with a team that dealt with Public Relations and the general promotion of the business.

I took part in this voluntary placement within the Law and Admin Department. In my time there I initially shadowed the lawyers dealing with family law, contract law and property law. After a few weeks I was given the responsibility of researching individual cases and compiling case files to be used in court. I gained experience in an office environment and in undertaking tasks on an individual basis in order to contribute to a group project or end goal. This role allowed me to learn the importance of details and focus in individual work in order for a successful overall end project.
